HE INVITES KOCHARYAN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GATHERING

“It is inappropriate to compare Levon Ter-Petrosyan with other individuals in the political field. In my opinion, Serge Sargsyan will also share this viewpoint”, said the head of the “Republican” party Aram Sargsyan in an interview with “A1+”. He considers that much depends on the individual, and in Ter-Petrosyan’s case the problem is higher than the individual level. “In Ter-Petrosyan’s case one shouldn’t defeat by ballot papers. In my case you may defeat by counting ballot papers, in case of Arthur Baghdasaryan by other opposition leaders. In Ter-Petrosyan’s case one should defeat with spirit, just as in my brother’s case. One should defeat with spirit and his job. He is the triumphant president”, added Aram Sargsyan.

“The obtained victory will remain. Today’s authorities say that they have maintained status quo. I do not agree, since status quo is the nation living in the Republic, the number of the people living in the mentioned country, we have lost status quo, status quo is the international reputation of the RA”, he mentioned.

The participants of gathering, which is due on 26 October, will reflect on October 27 incidents; they will commemorate the victims of 27 October. “I am certain that Levon Ter-Petrosyan will give definite assessments in his analysis. He is the political actor who differentiates between the primary and secondary issues”, noticed Aram Sargsyan.

Reflecting on promised but not carried out revolutions, Aram Sargsyan mentioned: “Unfortunately, we tried several times to carry out a revolution in Armenia but did not manage. The only way to carry out a revolution is the presidential elections”.

At the end of the interview Aram Sargsyan advised Robert Kocharyan: “If you want to carry out a flexible step you should come and participate in the gathering”.
