MECHANICS TO LEGITIMATE SERGE SARGSYAN
Support A1+!“If the current marasmic state continues for another two months, Serge Sargsyan will become a legitimate president due to the atmosphere of intrigues,” said the National Democratic Union (AZhM) Chairman Vazgen Manukyan.
The AZhM leader is sure that Levon Ter-Petrosyan will not be nominated at the presidential elections. In his opinion, people speaking about Ter-Petrosyan's nomination simply want to have a new “master.”
Vazgen Manukyan will run for presidency. By the way, he joined the acting and former authorities. A model has been set in Armenia since 1994. Its peculiarity is that the chosen ones enjoy exclusive privileges, rights, big business and unpunished crimes.
“The model doesn't serve ordinary people. It serves the interests of a definite stratum of the society and is unique as people buy European food with African salaries,” said Vazgen Manukyan. Some people strive to become masters whereas his mission is to alter the model.
Vazgen Manukyan doesn’t understand Artashes Geghamyan’s announcement according to which Armenia faces serious challenges which imply alliance of the authorities and opposition. “What has changed since 2003? No war has been declared to Armenia and no serious change has been registered!”
To A1+’s question what factors ensure the increase of Vazgen Manukyan’s rating and his victory at the elections, the latter confessed that in 2003 he had really got few votes and therefore supported Stepan Demirchyan’s candidature. In 2003 the vector of the struggle was wrongly chosen, the main emphasis was laid on people of Karabakh descent.
According to Vazgen Manukyan there will be 3-4 serious candidates. Two of them will withdraw at the pre-election period under certain circumstances.
