PROSECUTOR ASSASSINATED FOR BEING A PROSECUTOR
Support A1+!“The prosecutor of Lori region Albert Ghazaryan was assassinated for his professional activities”, announced the RA General Prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan. In Aghvan Hovsepyan’s opinion there is no need to pull forward any other version, although all versions are being investigated. He did not release the details of the investigation noting that no one was arrested yet.
It should be mentioned that the prosecutor was murdered on 25 August. According to the official press release from the General Prosecutor’s Office, Ghazaryan was shot dead by an unknown person with four bullets and was injured in his back, shoulders and neck
Right after the crime a criminal case started based on the Atriles 104 Article of the RA Criminal Code. The law foresees at least 8-15 years of imprisonment, and maximum life imprisonment for such a crime.
