COURT BROUGHT IN VERDICT OF ACQUITTAL
Support A1+!On July 16, 2007, First Instance Court of Kentron and Nork Marash Communities released the representatives of “Royal-Armenia” Company. Judge Pargev Ohanyan brought in a verdict of non-guilty.
The court decided to take proceedings against Vache Petrosyan, the head of “Fig” Company, for bearing false testimony.
To remind, the “Royal-Armenia” representatives were accused of smuggling and breach of tax liabilities.
The plaintiff pledged the court to sentence “Royal-Armenia” President Gagik Hakobyan to 12-year imprisonment, and Deputy President Aram Ghazaryan - to 11-year imprisonment.
Gagik Hakobyan and Aram Ghazaryan were detained in 2005.
