Support A1+!The National Assembly will likely adopt the scandalous draft amendments banning RFE/RL’s broadcasting. Today the Republican and Prosperous Armenia parties, the parliamentarian majority, endorsed the amendments to the draft laws “On Television and Radio” and “On State Duties.”
The NA rejected opposition's suggestions to hold public hearing and to cancel the voting. NA Speaker Tigran Torosyan reiterated that the bills are not directed against Radio Liberty.
The voting is scheduled for July 3
