REMONSTRATE AGAINST DAVIS

Politics

The “Ramkavar-Azatakan Party of Armenia” complains of Secretary General of the Council of Europe Terry Davis’ viewpoints on Nagorno-Karabakh attributing it as abusive for the whole Armenian nation.

The party considers that “Mr Davis did not realize the most essential mission of his position – to keep neutrality regarding the issues that refer to the Council of Europe. It urged Mr Davis not to impose his approach on the settlement of Karabakh issue and on the presidential elections in the NKR”.

“Moreover, the “Ramkavar-Azatakan Party of Armenia” finds that Terry Davis is abusing his position, thus serving to the British anti-Armenian policy lasting for centuries. The close collaboration of British foreign department with Turkish and Azerbaijani colleagues is not a secret for us.

Not once representatives of British Foreign Ministry declared that the actions against the Armenian nation in 1915 did not concur with the UN Convention on Genocide”, says the letter.

The “Ramkavar-Azatakan Party of Armenia” offers all factions in the RA NA, irrespective their political dimension, to organize open hearings on the forthcoming developments and proposed solutions on the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, involving all interested parties.

The RA Minister of Foreign Affairs also suggests organizing an action against the present Secretary General of the Council of Europe Terry Devis’ partiality.
