On June 1, the Republic Party, the New Times Party, the Orinats Yerkir Party and the Impeachment Bloc sought for restoration of citizens' violated rights at the Constitutional Court. They demand recognizing the May 12 election invalid.

Nuneh Hovhannisyan, a Central Electoral Commission advocate, stated that Nikol Pashinyan and Vahagn Hovakimyan cannot submit pleading as they are neither officials nor have the corresponding legal education. The court rejected the solicitation.

Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the Impeachment, believes that the main principle of campaign was not observed, and the pro-government forces employed the administrative resource, the media were biased, most Armenian citizens were deprived of the right to vote, others voted with forged passports, people were forced to join the Republican Party and the Prosperous Party.

Pashinyan also presented the election frauds registered by the Vanadzor office of Helsinki Civil Assembly.

Garegin Azaryan, the CEC Chairman, Abraham Bakhchagulyan, the CEC Deputy Chairman, David Harutyunyan, the Minister of Justice, Ararat Mahtesyan, the Deputy Chief of Police, and Grigor Amalyan, the Chairman of National Commission on Television and Radio participated at the hearing.

On June 2, the court will continue hearings.
