“1+1” AT LIBERTY SQUARE

They were guarded by Nikol Pashinyan who has begun a sit-down strike. Spending a night in a tent in the Liberty Square, he insists that he will go on with the strike till the gathering due on 18 May 19:00.
“In this case, I am acting not as a representative of a political power, but as a citizen. The problem is not in the political powers to unite, but the citizens to unite. If the citizens gather in this place, we will see all the political powers on this platform”, - says the member of the “Impeachment” block Nikol Pashinyan.
Although the main idea of the action is to unite the citizens, there were other “+1” papers pasted by the “National Unity Party”, “Country of Law”, “Heritage”, “Democratic Way Party” and by other parties with the notes of the parties’ names. “The process has begun, I am sure they will unite, the matter is in time only. It is important to reach this massage to the addressees and the addressee is each RA citizen”, - says Nikol Pashinyan.
By the way, asked by “A1+” whether during the last few days there have been any obstacles from the police or other people, Nikol Pashinyan answered, «We do not admit or recognize any obstacle. They know they cannot do anything, that is why they do not even make an attempt».
