On May 11 NKR President Arkady Ghukasyan signed the decree on releasing Lieutenant General Seiran Ohanyan from the duties of defense minister and commander of the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Lieutenant-General Movses Hakobyan was appointed minister of defense and commander of the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, who was released of the duties of deputy minister of defense and chief of the general staff of the defense army.
