ROAD SLIDING
Support A1+!On May 3, at about 5:30 p.m., carvings-in and landslides blocked a section of Yerevan-Dilijan highway.
On May 4, at about 01:00 p.m., the highway became impassable because of the recurrent sliding.
“Dilijan” Ltd, “Haghartsin” Ltd and co-workers of the Tavush Rescuers Board are currently participating in the road renovation works. The work will last 4-5 hours.
There are no victims.
RESIDENT GOT DROWNED
On May 3, at about 7:00 p.m., 19-year-old Srbuhy Ghazaryan, a resident of Verin Tsaghkabvan village, fell into the Tavush River.
Searching is ongoing.
WATER OVERFLOWS
On May 3, at 5:15 p.m., the houses, arable lands and stables of Gavar City were overflown by the waters of Gavaraget River.
Rescuers dug river-beds and changed the course to secure residents' safety. In the result, the water level decreased. The situation is under control.
