Michael Harutyunyan, RA Deputy Minister of Defense stated, 'We condemn to the crime and cherish hopes against any further actions. It is something happened at the beginning of the 20th century.'
Vazgen Khachikyan, chairman of the State Social Insurance Fund of the Republic of Armenia said, ' It is the memory of Genocide that empowers us, makes us believe in a stronger state and have a stronger society. We Armenians should always bare in our minds the Armenian Question, the recognition of the Genocide and each of us should put a rock on the so-called genocide building, on tombs of 1.5 mln Armenians that perished.'
Knyaz Hasanov, chairman of the Kurd Community Council highlighted, ‘A very unprecedented crime was committed towards the Armenians 92 years ago and as result 1.5 mln people were annihilated. The acting power still denies the fact of Genocide. Besides, today 20 mln Kurds are suffering the same misfortune in Turkey. The Kurds are banned to have their own language and nationality. We condemn to the crime towards the Armenian people.'
Heghine Bisharyan, member to ' Country of Law' mentioned,' As an Armenian I want to do my utmost for the Genocide to be recognized and condemned. I wish no nation ever suffered and witnessed such an event. We need to remember that it is the duty of every Armenian to honor the memory of the victims of the massacre.'
Abgar Apinyan, acting Chairman of the Armenian Writers' Union noted,' Any Genocide should deserve recognition, as April 24 is the unification day of our people. It speaks about the great desire to commemorate the victims. The world will see our power, our unification and finally the Armenian Question will be resolved.'
