PACE OBSERVERS TO ARRIVE IN ARMENIA
Support A1+!Parliamentary Assembly delegation will pay a ‘Pre-election’ visit to Armenia to assess the situation ahead of the May 12 parliamentary elections.
The program highlights:
- Meetings between a five-member Parliamentary Assembly delegation, headed by Leo Platvoet (Netherlands, UEL), election officials, representatives of political groups, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court, the Human Rights Ombudsman, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice, the President of the National Assembly and the President of the Republic
- Observation of the parliamentary elections on 12 May by a 40-member Assembly delegation
- Planned press conference: Friday 13 April at 5 p.m. at the National Assembly
