UNSUCCESSFUL TOUR FOR ARMENIAN GMs
Support A1+!The third tour of the Individual European Chess Championship turned out to be unsuccessful for the Armenian Grand Masters; Tigran Petrosyan and Tigran Kotanjyan were beaten, whereas Rafael Vahanyan tied the meeting.
Zaven Andreasyan, Gabriel Sargsyan, Karen Asryan and Ashot Anastasyan gained 0.5 points. Only Artashes Minasyan and Arman Pashikyan enjoyed victory among the Armenian GMs.
Currently, the meeting table is topped by 5 leading GMs each having 3 points. Rafael Vahanyan and Artashes Minasyan have medium position with 2.5 points each.
It is noteworthy that Elina Danielyan beat Oskana Vozovich with white chess pieces.
