SERGEY LAVROV FINDS 'NK ISSUE UNIQUE'
Support A1+!'Nagorno Karabakh issue is very unique. It is considered unique that it is an exceptional conflict; the co-chairmen share the same stance even on the details of the issue,' claimed Sergey Lavrov, RF Foreign Minister.
RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian announced his counterpart's speech,' Sergey Lavrov has a deep and thorough comprehension of the issue. We greatly appreciate RF stance and role in the NK issue regulation. RF is not only ready to support the parties’ agreement but also to be the guarantee for the obtained agreement.'
In answer to 'A1+' question on NK non-resolution, Sergey Lavrov responded, ' Anyways the reporters are masters of generalization rather than citing. There is great agreement on the NK issue regulation but for some points the parties should come around and talk over. The co-chairmen share the point the two parties will reach to as a result of their discussions. At present, Baku and Yerevan are still to say their word, and the intercessors are prone to assist. The decisive will be the two parties’ words.’
As to Vardan Oskanian, “There is a large spectrum of questions agreed upon. Yet there are still a couple of principles to talk over. The thing is not even about the principles. When we try to go deeper into the case, some other problems rise. Eventually, this is the reason for not coming to final decision,” RA Foreign Minister clarified.
The reporters were also keen to know Vardan Oskanian's viewpoint on Kosovo problem. The latter highlighted, 'Kosovo will become independent. Russia will support only the version acceptable for Pristine and Belgrade. The importance of the issue makes everybody keep up with Kosovo regulation procedures.'
