KOCHARYAN ENDORSED GOVERNMENT’S RESIGNATION
Support A1+!March 26, 2007 - The RA Government held a plenary session on March 26. RA President Robert Kocharyan presided over the session. The Government honored the death of the RA Prime Minster Andranik Margaryan with a minute of silence.
“We have lost an honorable statesman, coworker and friend. Andranik Margaryan headed the RA Government for 7 years. Those seven years have been the happiest moments in the history of Armenia since the proclamation of independence. Regardless of the fact that he held a high post, Andranik Margaryan always remained a modest, tolerant and decent man. We shall always remember Andranik Margaryan with all his human qualities. Andranik Margaryan left us at a decisive moment and we, the authorities, must find a right outcome of the current situation”, RA President Robert Kocharyan addressed the government representatives.
Today RA President endorsed the resignation of the RA Government under Cause 55 of the RA acting Constitution. The government was assigned to continue its routine by the time the new government is formed.
