“FIND THE REAL CRIMINALS”
Support A1+!On March 16, the relatives of the murdered Hovsep Mkrtoumyan and the justified servicemen Razmik Sargsyan, Susa Serobyan and Arayik Zalyan held a piquet opposite the RA General Prosecutor's Office. To note, Razmik Sargsyan, Susa Serobyan and Arayik Zalyan were accused of murdering Hovsep Mkrtoumyan. Under the verdict of Cassation Court they were justified and set free after three years' detention.
The rally participants complain that the investigation on the “Mataghis case” is realised with rough breaches of law.
“The Court on Martial Issues has rejected all our petitions. We urged them to sue the doctors fabricating the results of the first investigation”, says advocate Zarouhy Postanjyan.
“The athorities don't seem sufficed with the fact that our sons have been put into custody for nothing. And now they want to examine them”, states Julieta Sargsyan, Razmik's mother. She says her son isn't in perfect state. “We call ambulance once or twice a week. Razmik has terrible headaches and suffers from backaches; this is all the result of brutal beating.”
Mrs. Greta, Hovsep Mkrtoukyan's mother says, “I have come hear to complain of injustice. They display a wrong approach to the matter. The verdict brought by the Cassation court is fair. I urge them to administer justice and to punish the real criminals who are currently in freedom.”
In answer to our question whether the justified servicemen can again appear on the defendant’s chair, Zarouhy Postanjyan said, “I think the acting authorities won’t dare to do it. They have called them to examination as they want to conceal the facts and hide the real criminals.”
To note, none of the representatives of the Prosecutor's Office received the rally participants.
