U.S. State secretary Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates sent a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives, namely to Nancy Pelos, Chairman of the representatives and Tom Lantos, leader of the Republican Party. Condoleezza Rice and Robert M. Gate urged House of Representatives to turn down the draft law on the recognition of the Armenian genocide.

Condoleezza Rice maintains that the adoption of the bill will deteriorate the USA-Turkey relations and put the system of the U.S. international relations into peril, APA agency reports.
