RA UPCOMING ELECTIONS ARE OF US INTEREST
Support A1+!The USA is interested with NA forthcoming elections more than any other country or organization. This is due to the statistics of Armenian Sociological Association.
Nowadays the association is carrying out survey throughout Armenia which is sponsored by the USA “International Federal Institute”, the center being in Washington DC. The Organization is interested in not only in election campaign, but also in candidates and parties.
Gevorg Poghosyan, chairman of Armenian Sociological Association, informed that they had also other international clients. 'They are more interested in the elections than national organizations,' he stated. He avoids giving any evaluation on the survey until they are over.
As to the results of the US “ International Federal Institute”, Gevorg Poghosyan promised to make them public by the end of this week. The association will also take up the survey of ‘GELUP’ Institute. 'We will start their survey later which is mainly about elections and leaders.'
Strange though it may seem, no Armenian organization, party and individual has ever turned to Armenian Sociological Association with the social survey request.
