PACKET ON “DUAL CITIZENSHIP” PASSED
Support A1+!On February 20, the RA NA convened a plenary session and endorsed the packet on “Dual Citizenship” with 64 votes for, 6 votes against and no abstentions.
Prior to the voting, Gourgen Arsenyan, leader of the United Labour Party, announced that they are against the packet provision under which the citizens of other nationalities have no right to become members to the RA Government.
Arshak Sadoyan, leader of “Justice” faction, urged the deputies against the provision not to participate in the voting.
Nevertheless, the packet was adopted with the joint measures of the Republican Party and ARF Dashnaktsutyun.
