The OSCE Minsk group Co-Chairs call on the sides of the conflict to steer clear of initiatives that could undermine the positive developments of recent months in the negotiation process over the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. As an example of such initiatives the Co-Chairs mentioned the issues raised in the UN Assembly General.

According to Azeri agency APA, the Co-Chairs have made this statement after the Paris meeting. They met RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan and Personal representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk on February 14 and 15.

In the joint statement the Co-Chairs expressed hope that the sides will maintain the momentum that had developed in the negotiations in recent months and that the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet again in the nearest future, prepared to overcome the remaining differences on the basic principles of a future settlement agreement.
