NEGOTIATIONS WERE CONSTRUCTIVE, RESULTS-INTANGIBLE
Support A1+!The meeting of the OSCE Minks group Co-Chairs and NKR President Arkadi Ghoukasyan have ended in Stepanakert.
Yuri Merzlyakov, Russian Co-Chair, evaluated the meeting rather highly. “We haven’t been in the NKR in full staff. As for the results of the meeting with Arkadi Ghoukasyan, I must say that they were constructive and favorable”.
US Co-Chair Mettew Bryza also deems Arkadi Ghoukasyan’s stance constructive. Arkadi Ghoukasyan also finds the work of the Co-Chairs constructive. Mr. Ghoukasyan says, “The Co-Chairs must comply their positions with that of Azerbaijan which still remains non-constructive in my opinion”, said Arkadi Ghoukasyan.
He underlined the NKR status, the issues of territories and refugees as target issues of the conflict regulation. “It is still too early to speak of the final settlement of the conflict, as there are discords on all the above-mentioned issues” added Mr. Ghoukasyan.
