KOCHARYAN MET PUTIN
Support A1+!«There are many things accumulated which I'd like to share with you», said Robert Kocharyan to RF President Vladimir Putin about his new plans, thoughts and ways of cooperation.
«There aren't any misunderstandings between the Presidents of Armenia and Russia», announced Putin during the meeting in Sochi. According to some sources, the meeting in the Sochi residence of the RF President was being prepared since December.
«We always have things to talk about», the Russian president told a news conference after the meeting. «At present we are discussing issues about transportation and industry». Vladimir Putin mentioned that the meeting will be useful for the development of the Russian-Armenian relations. According to the 2006 data, the commodity circulation between Armenia and Russia is over 500 million USD.
During the meeting a reference was made to the regional issues, particularly, to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Putin and Kocharyan discussed the ways to coordinate the activity of the two countries in order to improve the situation in the Caucasus.
Another important theme of the meeting was the CIS issue.
