MARGARYAN PARTICIPATED IN THE FUNERAL
Support A1+!On December 24, the RA delegation headed by Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan participated in the funeral of Saparmurat Atayevich Niyazov, the President of Turkmenistan.
“In the name of the Armenian Government and the Armenian people I condole with the Turkmen over Saparmurat Niyazov’s death, the first president and devoted son of the country. I cannot overestimate Niyazov’s role in the establishment of the country’s statehood, as well as in the enhancement of relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan.
Saparmurat Niyazov was loved and respected by Armenians. He will always remain in the memory of Armenians as a state figure and a person who rendered assistance to Armenians during the troublesome moments”, the RA Prime Minister wrote down in the book of condolences.
