VAHAGN CHAKHALYAN CANNOT RETURN TO JAVAKHQ

Member of the presidium of democratic union «United Javakhq» Vahagn Chakhalyan who had been arrested in Yerevan on October 10 was set free ten days ago, but he cannot return to Javakhq. Only the RA National Security Service knows when he will be able to, Javakhq-Info reports.

The absurd accusation against Vahagn Chakhalyan has not yet been eliminated and he is not given the right to return to Javakhq as he has to wait until the trial.

“The presidium of democratic union «United Javakhq» is worried about this fact. There is an impression that the RA authorities set Chakhalyan free in order to prevent the wave of complaint, but they did not eliminate the accusation, practically supporting the illegal authorities of Akhalqalaq. The residents of Javakhq are waiting for the return of the national figure; his absence can have a still more complicating influence on the tense situation”, announced Javakhq-Info.
