RA NA PASSED THE BILL ON ALIENATION
Support A1+!Today the RA NA plenary session passed the draft bill on “Alienation of Property for State and Public Needs” with 61 votes for and 11 abstentions after the first hearing.
Reminder: the bill was put into the NA voting for three times with failure as the bill wasn't endorsed because of the lack of sufficient votes.
“Justice” faction took a break of twenty minutes prior to the voting. “We are against the format and contents of the bill though we highlight its importance. The bill is necessary,” says Grigor Haroutyunyan, deputy of “Justice” faction.
He claims that the RA Government was the initiator of the bill and it broke its promise neglecting the proposals submitted during the first hearings and parliamentary hearings. “They brought the same bill changing the 10 percent by 15 percent. Nothing else has been changed”
To note, the above-mentioned percents refer to the market price of the property compensation.
Provided the bill was not adopted after the first hearing, it was to be put to the second hearing within 24 hours. “It is inadmissible. What do they mean by saying within 24 hours? What can be changed over that period?” says Grigor Haroutyunyan.
Alongside the bill on alienation, twenty other bills were put into the first hearing and 14 bills - into the second hearing.
By the way, before the discussion of each bill, NA Speaker Tigran Torosyan, who presided over the session, called on the deputies to vote for themselves.
“What a strange attitude,” shouted Mr. Torosyan after he had noticed the deputies of the Republican Party sitting in the 7th row and voting instead of other deputies.
