HAKOB HAKOBYAN PARTICIPATES IN THE SESSION

After RA Public Prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan represented its mediation “to involve NA deputy Hakob Hakobyan in the case as accused”, according to one of the deputies, there was an impression that the only crime Hakobyan is not guilty of is the murder of Kennedy. According to the mediation, Hakobyan started his criminal activity in 1991.

That is to say, for 15 years the Prosecutor's office was unable to punish the criminal deputy and closed their eyes to the financial losses of the budget. In particular, Hakobyan avoided paying taxes the total sum of which may be assessed approximately 400 million AMD. Besides economic crimes, according to the Public Prosecutor, Hakobyan has created a group which committed an act of hooliganism on October 8.

Alongside with other questions, the deputies wondered why the Public Prosecutor had not brought the mediation to the Parliament up to now and did it only after the problems with «ArmRusGasArd». Stepan Zaqaryan from «Justice» faction announced that if it is dangerous to have problems with certain companies, they all must be warned against it, «It turns out that one can inflict heavy losses to the budget but can't have an argument with «ArmRusGasArd» or the Full Contact Karate Federation».

Tatoul Manaseryan mentioned that it would be funny to believe that Hakob Hakobyan is the only one who has committed such errors. «Who is the next one in your list? » he asked. The Public Prosecutor answered that he does not have a list.

Viktor Dallakyan announced that the session is not legal as the Public Prosecutor does not have the right to turn to the Prime Minister in order to include an issue into the agenda.

Manouk Gasparyan announced that the case is fabricated and about 40 other deputies could be there instead of Hakob Hakobyan. «If he has been stealing for 15 years, why is he arrested now? Besides, hooliganism cannot be one-sided; why isn't the other sides involved as well? » the Prosecutor answered that there are victims and there are people guilty for it. It turned out that the victims were those who beat up Hakob Hakobyan's driver.

By the way, Hakob Hakobyan himself was following the course of the session. He told some of the journalists that the session reminds him of an Indian film.
