Why didn't Armenian National Movement (ANM) join “Alternative” initiation? Our interviewee was Erjanik Abgaryan, member of the ANM and Alternative Initiation.

Alternative Initiation is a group of individuals, and everyone can join us if he wishes. We welcome all people who would like to have their share in the initiative and who find our suggestions to take the country out of this ooze reasonable.

Mr. Abgaryan, Armenians once gave their vote of confidence to the political force you represent. Do you think they will trust you again? Don't you think that people got tired of the same persons and they need changes?

I am sorry but there is a methological mistake in your question. There have always been certain forces in the international practice who asked people for their vote of confidence. We were able to take the country out of absolute chaos, war, etc. Now it is time to decide which course we are to choose. We chose the peaceful way to solve all the matters concerning Armenia on political ground. First of all, this refers to the Karabakh conflict as Armenian economy could not develop otherwise and would be isolated form the rest of the world. If you think that people are of bad opinion of us, it is your business. But we did our work from political point of view in worst conditions. We hope that people realize and appreciate our work. And now once more we ask people for their vote of confidence. -

Does your team want to make the present authorities “answer for their malfunction”?” -

This is an important question which has been aroused many times. I must say that the current authorities are brought to Armenia by the Russian special services. -

Didn’t Levon Ter-Petrosyan bring Robert Kocharyan from Karabakh? -

Levon Ter-Petrosyan brought Robert Kocharyan as the Prime Minister and not as the ruler of the country. -

Do you claim that Vazgen Sargsyan also took his post with the help of Russian services? -

I am sorry but I must say that Vazgen Sargsyan left the impression of a naive, and politically immature figure. He didn't realise the course of the business because of the lack of knowledge. He realised his mistake only in May that's why his further steps didn’t go in line with Kocharyan's and Sargsyan's steps. -

Mr. Abgaryan, the current authorities have found the way of justifying themselves and announce that they have inherited this malfunctioning system. -

They haven’t inherited the system. -

Thus,no political murders wer ordered during your office.. -

They cannot illustrate cases of political murders ordered by the former authorities. But if there were any, the initiators were the opposition representatives. -
