“THE ATTACK WAS A POLITICAL ORDER”
Support A1+!Member of the Party “Republic” political council Suren Abrahamyan who was attacked on October 8 near the entrance of his house and the political council of the party made a statement today.
According to leader of the party Aram Sargsyan, it was another attempt to scare them away, and the act of violence against Suren Abrahamyan was in fact directed against the whole party. “It was connected with the political activity of Suren Abrahamyan. Our party has always expressed its attitude giving names of people. It is meaningless to look for other explanations; it was a political order. But those who made it and those who executed it will not remain unpunished. They will be punished by the Court. That is the Armenia we want to create”, announced Aram Sargsyan.
According to Suren Abrahamyan, the only person guilty of the crime is RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, even if the decision was made due to the provocation of a third party. If it is not so, the Prime Minister can easily reveal the real criminals and free himself from “groundless accusations”. “But the actions directed towards the revelation of the crime do not have any perspective. If he wanted to reveal the case, he would learn that his true enemy is not Suren Abrahamyan, but those who are closer to him”, Suren Abrahamyan said.
He recalled that the skinhead who attacked him was tall and well-built, dressed in black and without glasses. “He warned me to go and apologize. It was another attempt at my life. Robert Kocharyan and Serge Sargsyan could not put up with the idea that I survived October 27”, he said.
