“SEVERE CRIMES ARE ORDERED”

Politics

“Union of Constitutional Rights” Party issued an announcement about the assault on Hovhannes Galajyan, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Iravounq.”

The announcement says, “Our authorities, representatives of Mafia who are elected by election frauds, do their utmost to preserve their power as they perceive its forthcoming collapse. They have become the main threat for the public. Mass murders and violence have become normal phenomena in our everyday life. Ordinary people become victims of the illegal actions alongside with famous personalities. Shahen Hovasapyan’s death is neither the first nor the last one in the list; murders will still continue unless legal power is established in Armenia.

Severe crimes are committed by special “state order,” and our high rank officials guilty of them.

Yesterday morning Hovhannes Galajyan, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Iravounq” and one of the founders of “Union of Constitutional Rights” Party, was attacked on the way to the editorial office. It was but a wonder that he didn’t get serious bodily injuries.

We do condemn violence in all its forms and deception which are used as the means of solving affairs. We condemn their adherents and sponsors and we deeply condole with the people whose relatives have become innocent victims of severe vandalism of this system.”

We are determined to finish our work and we call on the citizens of the country, on the state officials and political figures who have preserved their heart remorse and dignity to combat this phenomenon with joint efforts and to eradicate criminal elements among our society.
