ARAM KARAPETYAN DOESN’T WANT TO HAVE A REST

Politics

Today the Party “New Times” held an open meeting with the Yerevan members of the party during which Aram Karapetyan, the leader of the party spoke of their further steps and a number of interior issues.

Aram Karapetyan noted that although it is June and the passive phase of the political sphere has already begun the Party “New Times” isn’t going to rest. Just on the contrary, they are going to activate their work both in Yerevan and in regions, open new offices and centers. “We intend to have 1000 activists in Yerevan if we add them to the regional activists their total number will outnumber 2500 – 3000. They can unite and take joint measures if necessary,” claims Aram Karapetyan.

Provided the “New Times” comes to power, Aram Karapetyan promises that he will be very strict and exclude “acquaintance-based” relations and he will get into alliance only with competitive specialists.

Mr. Karapetyan also referred to the home affairs mainly to the forthcoming elections, to the response of his letter by NSS head Gorik Hakobyan, to the aircrash of the Armenian airliner A-320, etc. As for Gorik Hakobyan, Aram Karapetyan thinks that whatever he wrote is true judging by Hakobyan’s reply to his letter in which he didn’t answer the questions concerning Karapetyan, “Judging from the contents of the letter I have got such an impression that Gorik Hakobyan has a girlish approach to the life,” added Mr. Karapetyan and advised Gorik Hakobyan to retire as he is already 65 and it is illegal to hold a post at this age.
