THE CO-CHAIRS MADE SUGGESTIONS
Support A1+!The OSCE Minsk group co-chairs will likely arrive in Yerevan on May 25 – 30. RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan announced today that the co-chairs have already presented their suggestions to the sides in question.
The minister voiced hope that “the presidents of the countries will meet if the visit of the Minsk group co-chairs to the region and the meeting of the Azeri and Armenian Foreign Ministers in Strasburg have positive outcome.” He also underlined that “in case the positions of the two sides towards issues of principle are established they can anticipate certain changes.”
According to Vardan Oskanyan it is improbable to have a unanimous position towards any document taking into consideration the current situation and the complicated essence of the issue.
“Each question has its positive and negative sides which must be put on the table, revealed and improved during the process of negotiations,” noted the minister.
“The settlement of the Karabakh issue has its current and due time, they must continue their work trying to settle the matter as soon as possible,” claimed Vardan Oskanyan. The latter also maintains that the conflict settlement is not determined by the home affairs and policy of Armenia.
