The Chairman of the party “Heritage” Raffi Hovannisian, the party members and the whole personnel of the central office have been deprived of the access to the office since March 4. The Chairman of the party “National Democratic Alliance” Arshak Sadoyan has already initiated the signature collection of the Open Letter. On this score the deputy turns to all the political parties and organizations concerned with the problem of the establishment of the democracy in Armenia.

First of all the illegality and biased attitude towards the party “Heritage” is presented in the Open Letter (the valve of the entrance door of the territory rented by Raffi Hovannisian was broken and the lock was changed according to the data of the editorial office).Then the letter urges “the question of annulling the barrier put on the office of the party, and the necessity of taking measures to provide the safe activity of the party “Heritage.” The representatives of 20 parties and public organizations have already signed at the bottom of the letter. Mainly the Forum of the Intelligentsia, the “National Renaissance,” the “New Times,” the “Social – Democratic of Armenia,” the “Hnchakyan Social – Democratic” and other parties expressed their readiness to second the party “Heritage.”

The Chairmen of the party “Heritage” Raffi Hovannesian sent a new letter to the RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan mentioning that he neither got an answer to the letter sent on February 27 nor the agreement reached on the telephone on March 9 was realized according to which the situation was to be solved through the direct control of the Prime Minister. “Let no other party, organization and individual deserve such a humiliating attitude which is infamous for the country,” this is mentioned in the letter of the party “Heritage” addressed to the Prime Minister. There is also a demand and a request in it; to annul the barrier on the office and to provide normal conditions for the activity by June 1, the end of the tenant contract with the theatre. The request is about giving the party the same territory or other appropriate territory in the center of the capital beginning from June 1.
