“EVERYTHING IS SAID SIMPLY AND DIRECTLY”

Politics

On April 10-13 the PACE spring session will start in Strasbourg. Two issues about Armenia will be discussed. One of them is about the refuges, and the other is about the human rights protection in the Armed Forces. The issues will not be represented separately: the first report will be about the situation with the refugees in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, and the second – about the situation in the army in the member-countries of CE.

In this connection RA NA deputy Speaker Tigran Torosyan rendered a press conference today. He mentioned, “If it turns out that the data represented in the reports do not correspond to the reality in Armenia, they will send information to the authors of the report.” But as far as “the report is the property of the maker”, they can refuse to take it into consideration.

By the way, during the short press conference in the NA Tigran Torosyan answered several off topic questions of the journalists, particularly about the interview with Vano Siradeghyan published in the newspaper “Armenian Time”. “Everything is said simply and directly”, Torosyan said, even without agreeing with some of the evaluations. In particular, the NA speaker thinks that the policy of today’s authorities has the same direction as that of the previous RA authorities.
