NATO TEACHES US TO SAVE MONEY
Support A1+!The officials of the NATO will try to teach the representatives of the RA Defense System to spend the financial means effectively. They will teach to raise the efficiency of the expenditures in the defense field.
These urgent issues were discussed during the seminar «Economic Aspects of Security: Improvement of the Management of the Defense Field» which started in Yerevan today. The theme of the discussion was «Accountancy Transparency: Development of Modern and Transparent Accountancy Methods».
Head of the Southern Europe, Middle East and Southern Caucasus Neighborhood policy cooperation office Richard Weber informed that the CE will allot 800 million USD to 17 countries («new neighbors»). Mr. Weber informed that they will financially support different fields, as well as the budget directly.
The head of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Mher Shahgeldyan is not aware of the sum spoken about. By the way, the NATO specialists informed that the relations of the three South Caucasian countries with the NNATO are on the same level. They also underlined that every country decides itself the range of relations with the NATO.
Mher Shahgeldyan, RA deputy Defense Minister Arthur Aghabekyan and the RA deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan thanked the representatives of NATO for their efforts to help the local specialists.
