LUXEMBURG WANTS TO COOPERATE WITH NKR
Support A1+!Chairman of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulian received a Parliamentary delegation from Luxemburg which had arrived in Nagorno Karabakh with a two-day visit.
The visit pursued the aim to get acquainted with the public-political and social-economic situation in the NKR for creation of preconditions for further cooperation.
Ashot Ghoulian expressed hope that the impressions of the trip got by the Luxemburg Parliamentarians would serve a good basis for establishment of further mutual contacts.
In his turn, leader of the delegation, General Secretary of the Deputy Faction of the Christian-Socialist (ruling) party, honorable consul of Armenia Frank Engel stated that the trip was quite impressive, the delegation managed to visit some sights of Nagorno Karabakh as well as conduct a number of useful meetings.
Answering the guests’ questions, the National Assembly Chairman touched upon issues of NKR state building including the activity of the republic’s legislative body, the history of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, the problem and perspectives of various spheres of the country’s vital activity, the main directions and priorities of its development, conducted reforms, existing difficulties and needs. The acting legislation of the NKR, Ashot Ghoulian said, especially laws concerning the social-economic life, is quite liberal and creates attractive conditions for successful development of business and realization of investment policy.
