BOZHKO AGAINST “GRAND CANDY”
Support A1+!On demand of State Committee on Defense of Economic Competition “Grand Candy” stopped advertising its production.
In opinion of the specialists of the committee “Grand Candy” commercials broadcast on different TV channels making impertinent comparison with Ukrainian and Turkish chocolates contains elements of unfair competition, banned by RA Law about «Defense of Economic Competition».
On this occasion, in response to the note sent by the Chair of the State Committee, executive director G. Galstyan informed that the above-mentioned stills were withdrawn from the air.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Alexander Bozhko sent a complaint note to the committee, stating, that there are inappropriate and tactless comparisons with Ukrainian chocolate production: «Moreover, a rather famous trademark is used in the commercial (CJSC «ABK»), which is known in CIS for its high quality chocolate production”.
