AZERBAIJAN MUST RESTORE WHAT IT HAS RUINED

The pan-Armenian committee on defence of Armenian monuments formed on January 14 which has about 40 members in Armenia and diaspore is going to send a document to RA President tonight presenting their demands from Azeri authorities.
“Our problem is not sending letters to international organizations which has been done long ago. Our only problem is to find a way to stop this vandalism and bring the government to account”, - member of committee Rafael Hambarzumyan said today at press-conference. The committee marks that during the meeting coming meeting on February 10 in Paris Robert Kocharyan must present the historical truth, stress that Nakhijevan was illegally joint to Azerbaijan in 1921, demand punishment for Azerbaijan for having carried out a cultural genocide up to expulsion from UNESCO.
The most unreal in the list of the demands is restoration of khachkars. Armenian intellectuals are sure that it’s possible to assure Azerbaijan to restore what it has been consistently destroying for several years.
