Support A1+!Leader of Christian-Democratic party Khosrov Haroutyunian is disappointed in RF policy towards Armenia and thinks that what Russia does today contradicts to the agreement on «Friendship, cooperation and mutual support between Russia and Armenia», as well as the agreement about “Russian military base in the territory of Armenia”.
The gas price rise makes Mr. Haroutyunian conclude that “Russia's behaviour is difficult to characterize otherwise than policy of unilateral reconsideration of strategic meaning of relationships with Armenia with an undisguised intention of passing them to a lower level”.
“This is a qualitatively new reality in Armenian-Russian relations and compels Armenian side to reconsider its relations with Russia to make them concordant with long-term questions of own security”, - he noted.
