Support A1+!The Nagorno Karabakh Republic Foreign Minister Georgi Petrosyan received the representatives of the Belgian Mass Media in the NKR permanent office in Yerevan. They arrived in Karabakh with the delegation of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister of Belgium Karel De Ducht.
Representing the official position of the NKR about the future status of Karabakh Georgi Petrosyan underlines that the people of Nagorno Karabakh chose the path of independence with a referendum. «Any status lower than independence is unacceptable for the Nagorno Karabakh Republic», he mentioned.
Answering the questions of the journalists, the Foreign Minister said that the participation of the Karabakh side in the negotiations about the peaceful settlement of the conflict is important and necessary, as there are a number of issues the solution of which is impossible without Nagorno Karabakh.
The NKR permanent representative to RA Karlen Avetisyan was also present at the meeting.
