FOR HOW LONG WILL COE TOLERATE?
Support A1+!One of the questions addressed to the CoE Committee of Ministers at the winter session of PACE concerns Armenian khachkars destroyed in Nakhichevan.
The author of the question was Shavarsh Qocharyan, who is not a PACE delegate any longer. Mr. Qocharyan suggests sending inspection mission to Jugha to prepare a report on demolished historical and cultural not only Armenian but world values. «For how long will the structures of the Council of Europe tolerate the membership of a state, that destroys cultural monuments, advocates hatred between two peoples makes militaristic statements at the highest level of the state government, and does not respect the main obligations and commitments with regard to establishing democracy in Azerbaijan, the proof of which were the recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
By the way, though Shavarsh Qocharyan is not a member of RA delegation in PACE he'll take part at the session as a guest. PACE Liberal-Democratic group, a member of which the deputy was, invited him to the farewell ceremony.
