There's something more urgent to be discussed tomorrow: the «A1+» correspondent learned from the bloc that tomorrow the session will sum up the results of the collection of signatures in connection with the referendum. The next day the members of the bloc will render a press conference about the results.
But the discussions of the candidacies for the Ombudsman's post continue. The Justice bloc tends to put forward the candidacy of Larissa Alaverdyan, although the candidacy of Ruben Torosyan put forward by the National Unity is equally acceptable for them.
Member of the bloc Republican Party prefers the candidacy of Larissa Alaverdyan. «She was really very good as Ombudsman. I might even say it was impossible to do more than she did», member of the political council of the Republican party Artak Zeynalyan said.
Zeynalyan also does not underestimate the work done by Ruben Torosyan who fought against the electoral violations in 2003 and 2005. “Ruben Torosyan’s work is invaluable”, Zeynalyan says, but still he sees him rather in the executive and legislative bodies, and prefers Larissa Alaverdyan in the post of the Ombudsman.
