THE WORLD BELONGS TO THE OPTIMISTS

Politics

«Difficult situations split the weak and join the strong», said the NA speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan about the events of the passing year. He has decided to be more careful with the journalists in the coming year as it is a pre-election year, and according to him, sometimes the journalists violate the words of a politician, «From now on I will not answer a single question until I read what they have said».

As for what he said about the referendum and why he said it, Arthur Baghdasaryan announced that before the referendum he found the fair organization of the referendum important and he said that if there are violations, he will be the first one to speak about them. «And that is what I did», the NA speaker said.

By the way, he announced that he is ready for competition both with the party «Prospering Armenia» and with the party «Alliance», and with Serge Sargsyan, but he thinks it is still early to speak about Presidential elections. He only noted that the Orinats Yerkir Party is ready to have good result in case of having trust. And they do everything to win the trust of the people.

Arthur Baghdasaryan considered the parliamentary year 2005 efficient and announced that 223 legislative initiatives have been adopted and 65 international treaties have been ratified.

At the end of the interview Arthur Baghdasaryan added that «there is a stronger weapon than evil – it is kindness», and «the world belongs to optimists, and pessimists are merely spectators».
