COMMUNISTS NOT ALLOWED INTO YEREVAN

Today the policemen did not allow the members of the Communist Party to enter Yerevan alleging their intention to participate in the opposition rally. Communists fro Hrazdan, Echmiadzin, Armavir managed to enter Yerevan, however those from Vayots Dzor did not succeed in persuading the policemen.

The Communist Party does not participate in the opposition rallies, since its ideology conflicts with it. “I swear the year of 1920 will repeat and socialism will win in the whole world,” CPA leader Ruben Tovmasyan stated today.

To note, three branches of the Communist Party were celebrating today the holiday of sovetization. The event participants marched from the Monument to Shahumyan towards the Union of Veterans. Closing the march Ruben Tovmasyan conveyed the greeting of Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov.
