There were about 5000 people today near the Matenadaran in the authorized meeting organized by the opposition in which all the leaders of the opposition were present.

«We shall fight together and eliminate the illegal administration», leader of the People's Party Stepan Demirchyan announced. He was greeted by the people.

Leader of the party «Democratic Homeland» Petros Makeyan announced the results of the referendum according to the Central Electoral Committee and those according to the oppositional observers which were completely different from each other. Petros Makeyan called on every citizen to stand up, to form a civic movement and to join the opposition in order to win. After these words the people started to shout, «Vic-to-ry, vic-to-ry».

The speech of the leader of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian was frequently interrupted by applause. «The whole nation will restore its dignity. The Republic of Armenia, our nation and our citizens are no toys. This will be the last shame of our new history».

Member of the political council of the Republican Party Artak Zeynalyan referred to the work of the Mass Media. He reminded everyone that there is not free press in Armenia after the closure of «A1+» and «Noyyan Tapan». And yesterday the work of the «Azatutyun» Radio Station was hindered.

Another participant of the meeting was Ohan Duryan who called on the RA citizens angrily to come and express their contempt for the authorities. “Promise me that you will be here tomorrow”, he said.

At the end of the meeting leader of the Democratic Union Vazgen Manoukyan made speech. He assured people that tonight the leaders of the opposition will clear up what to do, and they will organize everything tomorrow.
