POLICEMEN BEAT OPPOSITION REPRESENTATIVE
Support A1+!Recurrent act of violence took place in the center of Yerevan today. Policemen bet member of Hanrapetutyun party Ashot Poghosyan with a purpose “to maintain public order.”
Poghosyan allegedly violated the traffic rules passing at the red light. As a matter of fact Ashot Poghosyan's car was the last one in the column and consequently was the most suitable one for taking it to the penalty ground. Some minutes later Ashot Poghosyan was taken to the police station and beaten. Other passengers of the car were as well treated violently. A police captain hit even A1+ reporter, who was performing her professional duty.
Later we learnt that Ashot Poghosyan was taken to hospital in Nor Nork.
