Millennium Challenge Account that stirred up a tumult in the RA government does not do Armenia credit. The states eligible for the program have been already chosen and Armenia will receive financial assistance along with Burkina Faso, Gambia, Jordan, Morocco and Uganda.

The report issued Freedom House noted that the five states chosen showed the worst index in the nomination of freedom of states, Day.az reports. The report on Armenia stresses that political rights in Armenia are extremely limited as compared to 2004.

Freedom House experts also mention that despite reforms carried out in various fields development of democracy does not speed up. The report negatively represents the Armenian juridical system, parliamentary and presidential election, condemns administrative arrests and criticizes the law “On Demonstrations, Rallies, Marches and Meetings”, which limits the freedoms of the citizens.
