DISAGREEMENTS ABOUT THE KARABAKH BUDGET
Support A1+!The Karabakh Parliament intends to adopt a draft law according to which taxes will be raised. President of the NGR NA finance-budget Committee Ara Haroutyunyan who is also stockholder of the factory “Karabakh Gold” producing alcoholic beverages is against this.
According to the internet site karabakh-online, the negative attitude of the deputy is accounted for by the argument that «raise of the taxes will reduce the speed of production». The taxes are supposed to be raised by 38% in comparison to the years 2005.
There is also a possibility that the majority of the Parliament will vote against the tax policy of NKR. The problem is that Ara Haroutyunyan is the head of the party «Independent Homeland» which represents 1/3 of the Parliament. In this case there will be problems confirming the budget since it has been formed with the expectation of the taxes.
It is also noteworthy that NKR 2006 budget will form 25 billion AMD, 16 of which will be allotted by Armenia.
