THERE IS NO ANARCHY IN HOVIK ABRAHAMYAN'S COUNTRY

Politics

Today in the NA Minister of Regional Government Hovik Abrahamyan was forced to refer to the death of one of the residents of the Buzand street.

During the questioning between the deputies and the Government NA deputy President Tigran Torosyan tended to consider problems raised by some oppositional deputies «rhetoric». An attempt was made to leave unanswered the question by Tatoul Manaseryan, «Who must answer for the death of the resident of Buzand street? ». Although none of the Government members expressed readiness to answer the question, as a result of the firmness of the oppositional deputies Hovik Abrahamyan was forced to take the floor.

First he condoled with the relatives of the woman, then asked the question who has beaten her and who can be the reason of her death he said, «There is no anarchy in the country, the law enforcement bodies are in full control of the situation». He advised the relatives of the woman to apply to court in order to punish those who are guilty.

Hmayak Hovhannisyan never the heard the answers to his questions as Tigran Torosyan labeled his question as rhetoric and left unanswered. His main concern was that the institute of local governing bodies has not been realized in Armenia. He came to this conclusion as the main part of the questions raised in NA on Wednesdays refers to the institute of local governing bodies and its authorities.

Hmayak Hovhannisyan was also angry at the atmosphere of total indifference in NA in connection with the Constitutional Referendum.

The last question Hmayak Hovhannisyan was interested in was whether or not the Government is worried that in case of any outcome of the Referendum its legality will be called in question.
