CONSTITUTION NOT A MAGIC STICK
Support A1+!“This draft f constitutional amendments is not a magic stick , which can make our life like heaven,” head of the Democratic party of Armenia Aram G. Sargsyan stated in Zerkalo club.
His opponent Khosrov Harutyunyan agreed with him but added, “Not only Constitution but also revolution.” Today the supported of “yes” and “no” tried to ground their opinions.
Kh. Harutyunyan considers that the draft really is a progress as compared to the operating constitution. Aram Sargsyan hold opposite opinion, “The amendments are formulated incorrectly and will do harm to the people and country. Kocharian shows us a paper and says that we signed commitments to Europe,” he said. According to him, people should vote down the amendments. In his opinion the order of formation of government is as well wrong. “We have put forth 3 principal issues but none of them was adopted,” he added.
When commenting on the provision on the state borders Kh. Harutyunyan said, According to the operating constitution the change of borders is regulated via referendum. He called the opposition not to show the attitude to Kocharian by means of rejecting the constitutional amendments.
