According to the President of the Constitutional Referendum Preliminary Works Coordinating Council Mher Shahgeldyan the strategies of the «Yes» and «No» agitations are different, «The give the political interpretation of different articles, and we give the legislative interpretation». During the traditional Monday press conference Mher Shahgeldyan gave several numbers: «Yes» agitation has been realized in 115 residences, and more than 140 meetings have been organized.
During these meetings they preachers learned that the population wants to get information about the Constitutional amendments. And that, according to Mher Shahgeldyan, is the most important token for activeness of participation in the referendum.
He also said that he does not see any shortcomings in the work of the TV Companies and Mass Media and considers that equal conditions have been created for both sides. As for the announcement of the opposition that the TV Companies violated the RA Law on Television and Radio, according to Mher Shahgeldyan is does not correspond to reality as he did not know about the necessity of the mark «pre-election commercial».
Mher Shahgeldyan is convinced that the agitation is realized only during news programs and interviews. By the way, by now the Coordinating Council has not paid any of the TV Companies for the agitation.
